Prepare a proper job exit strategy, build the foundation and then jump.

If you want to quit your current job, following are the authentic reasons before you through which you can find your answers.

REASONS, TO QUIT YOUR JOB.

YOUR INPUT IS DISREGARDED

We all have special talents, we all have ideas and everyone loves his or her ideas are taken seriously and implemented. Your effort and ideas may be incredibly regarding. You might love your work, you might love your company. But when someone shoots down or even laughs at your ideas, it is only insulting. It is de- motivating. And gradually you stop caring your ideas and think of not to share or deliver as per your inner instinct and though tells you. But work as per the wish of someone else’s thoughts.

Life is too short to pass with regrets.

Try to discover or find your calling. We all have special talents that are waiting to be engaged in a worthy pursuit. We all are here for certain purpose. This does not mean that you must leave the job you now have. But you need to bring more of yourself into work and focus on the things you do best. You do not have to wait for the other people to make changes you desire. You are born with immensely powerful abilities within you. The only thing is to put a thought on it and discover the real “you” within you. Through this you will get way to build the foundation of your life.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam once said, “ Love your job, but do not love your company. Because you may not know when your company stops loving you”

 2.YOU GET CRITICISED

We all want to be appreciated for the work we contribute. We all need constructive feedback to improve ourselves. We want to listen just a“Thank you”. When you do some mistakes A good motivator or encouraging boss gives a positive feedback in a graceful way for your improvement or rectifying yourself. Instead of that you often find that you are criticized or humiliated in the public or before other colleagues. You never hear the word Thank you.

First as a human being, you have every right to be respected & honored. It is not the matter of how educated you are, how much money you have or whatever experience you might have. In such situations, do not quit immediately, but make a plan to quit.

Discover your abilities within you and know how to use them to overcome any and every obstacles you meet in the outside world. This is what every successful person did and you can do it too. Life is too short to be end up with criticisms and dishonor Respect yourself.

3.YOU ARE PRESSURIZED BY YOUR BOSS

A good boss knows that if his team succeeds, each individual in the team will succeed. He knows how to ensure the works from his employees.

But are you affected by Bossism? Are you overloaded with the work? Analyze whether the boss accompanies you in your work or just ordering. Do not spend your time in developing your Boss’s career at the expense of your own. Start to realize your dreams. What you want to do, what you love to do. By realizing your dreams you will be able to realize the greatness and potential within you. Following your dreams and realizing it is greatness. Do not follow your boss rather follow your dreams.

“If you do not build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs”

 4. YOU FEEL LIKE PURPOSELESS

All of us as like to feel a part of something bigger. We feel proud of being a part of a reputed company, proud to work with an immense personality, part of a famous association or anything like that. This means we need recognition. We want to have our impact on others or influence the lives of other people by doing some good work. But, most of the time it happens that you go home everyday feeling like you have just worked, but you have not accomplishes anything meaningful.

This means you are moving like a machine without any purpose. You are just counted as a number in your company, not as an asset. You can be replaced by anybody. If you work with a recognized person, respect & admire him you also deserve respect and admiration in return.

Do not be just a number in your company. Do not be a cog in a larger machine. Find a purpose of your life and work accordingly that will lead you towards that purpose.

“If you figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. Your passion will lead you right into your purpose”—Bishop T.D. Jokes.

YOU CANNOT SEE YOUR FUTURE

All of us want a career growth. We need a promotion, we need increment, you get opportunities to take additional responsibility, learn new things, tackle new challenges. Every job leads towards something better along with the experience. Your tomorrow should have the potential to be different- in a better way from today. A decent boss works to improve the future of his company. A god boss works to strengthen the capacity of his employees. He works to improve his employees’ future too. If you cannot foresee any future with your current job, no growth and development, its time to look for better opportunities.

“Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown out your inner voice”—Steve Jobs

6.YOU THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER IN OTHER PROFESSION

Bill Gates says, “I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because, a lazy person will find easiest way to do it.”

Everybody has its own potential, skill and abilities. If utilized in a proper way they can do wonders.

One of the best reason to take a decision to quit your job is you think that you can do much better in other profession. If you are fade up doing the same monotonous thing continuously which you do not like to do, you have done too much in your current job, you have put much time to your current job, but you think that you are better in different skill and abilities through which you can perform better, give better output, you can do.

You can do something else. This is the right time to listen to your inner voice. You just have to believe and trust your creativity, perseverance and effort to take a new, happier and more fulfilling place.

Thousands of people start their own businesses ever year. The only difference between you and them is that they decided to take the chance. They decided to bet on themselves. Do not stay where you are, instead do everything possible to live a better life. Take more and more chance. Open yourself to every opportunity.

YOU ARE NOT EXCITED ENOUGH TO GO TO WORK

Every job has its own dark sides. But every job should have some fun, exciting or challenging moments. This is a common mid-career crisis with most of the people. Every career has ebbs and flows. In the beginning you are on a rapid learning curve and everything seems to be exciting and fresh. As you get more comfortable in your role, you start to contribute and people start coming to you to sort out their problems. You feel like recognized and importance in yourself. But eventually, if you are not expanding your role or bringing in new challenges, it all gets to be old and fades away with the passing of time. You are no more excited. Do not feel like going to your work place or do not enjoy your work anymore.

Always look for something new, a new project, new work, new opportunity that is more challenging. Do not waste your time in thinking just take the new step.

“If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you”—-Steve jobs

YOUR JOB IS NOT SATISFYING ALL YOUR NEEDS

Needs here means not only financial needs, but a complete physical, psychological, social, spiritual, emotional and economic needs. Are all these needs being satisfied through your current job? If your job and responsibility demands too much from you and you do not find time for yourself, for your family, for your health care, outing, and just fulfilling your survival needs, no surplus money, your creativity will crush over and over. In the process, your productivity will decrease.

This is high time to chalk out an exit strategy. Your hands are not made to type out memos or put paper in fax machine. You have to make a choice to make wonderful use of your hands and brain. If the salary of your job does not make you happy you can easily modify lifestyle and work to satisfy more of your needs. And the more these needs are satisfied the more you will create the conditions for true abundance to come into your life. Your life is a house. Abundance is the roof. But the foundation and the plumbing need to be in there first or the roof will fall down, the house will be unlivable. You create the foundation by following the Daily Practice.

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens. But we look so long at the close door that we do not see the one that has been open for us”—Helen Keller

9.YOU WORK FOR A SAFE SALARY

Ask question to yourself that “should you take a job you like or should you take the job that pays more money? Or should you take a job at all?

Research findings shows that an increase in salary only offers marginal to zero increase in “happiness” above a certain level. Why is this? Because the basic fact: people spend what they make. If your salary increases $5,000 you spend an extra $2000 on features for your car, you have an affair, you buy a new computer, a better couch, a bigger TV, and then you ask, “Where did all the money go?” In comparison to the increase in cost of living, the ratio of salary increment is not enough. Hence, you cannot save from your increment, for betterment of your life.

“Don’t stay at the job for safe salary increases over time. That will never get you where you want – freedom from financial worry. Only free time, imagination, creativity, and an ability to disappear will help you deliver value that nobody ever delivered before in the history of mankind.”

“If opportunity does not knock, build a door”—Milton Berlie

YOU ALWAYS FEEL THE SCARCITY

Do you feel the abundance that you can do anything whenever and whatever you want? Or do you always feel insecure and scarcity to afford all the expenses?

Abundance will never come from your job. Stepping out of the prison imposed on you from your company will allow you to achieve abundance. It is hard to see the gardens when you are locked in prison. Abundance comes when you find the themes of your life.

Make a list of the themes right now and choose you theme

I want to be a bestselling author.I want to reduce my material needs.I want to have freedom from many of the worries that I have succumbed to all my life.I want to be healthy.I want to help all of the people around me or the people who come into my life.I want everything I do to be a source of help to people.I want to only be around people I love, people who love me. I want to have time for myself.

If you select the theme, you quit your current job and follow your themes. You will find a purpose. You will enhance your family, friends, you will become a beacon of enhancement. You will get the abundance and achieve whatever you want.

Job cannot give you financial freedom, job cannot give you time freedom, , job cannot give you extra income, job cannot give you freedom to live with dignity, job cannot bring abundance. If you find a reason to quit, do not give a second thought, chalk out the exit plan now.
